(Update 08/30: We’ve made these improvements to the Blogger Stats, based on your feedback and suggestions.)
- Self-view exclusion: You can now exclude your own visits by clicking on “Don’t track your own pageviews” link on the Stats | Overview page. We’re also now excluding traffic coming from Blogger admin admin pages and post Preview, providing more accurate pageview data.
- More effective bot traffic filtering. We’ve made several improvements to detect “bots” (the non-human visitors, such as crawlers) including extending our list of known “bots” to provide more accurate pageviews from real visitors.
- Internationalization. Now Blogger Stats is available in more than 40 languages.
---
Although some of you use Google Analytics or other third party tools to track your blog traffic, many of you have requested an easier-to-use, fully-integrated stats feature for Blogger. We heard that, and we are excited to announce that Blogger in Draft now has built-in stats. Just go to Blogger in Draft, and you'll notice a new "Stats" tab. You don't have to install or configure anything to start benefitting from Stats.
The coolest thing about the new Blogger Stats is that it monitors and analyzes your visitor traffic in near-real-time. You can see which posts are getting the most visits and which sites are sending traffic to your blog right now. For example, if a reader shares one of your blog posts on Twitter and the post is getting lots of clicks, you will see a traffic increase in Blogger Stats almost instantly, with the particular Tweet mentioning your post being identified as the traffic source. Of course, traffic data across longer time periods (day/week/month) and all-time historical data are available as well.
There's also a lot more data that's being tracked, such as popular search keywords that send visitors to your blog, which country your visitors come from, and which web browsers they are using. Basically, with the new Stats feature, you know what's going on with your blog right now.
There's also a lot more data that's being tracked, such as popular search keywords that send visitors to your blog, which country your visitors come from, and which web browsers they are using. Basically, with the new Stats feature, you know what's going on with your blog right now.
The new Stats feature shows all of this data in a simple, easy-to-understand graphical user interface. Since Stats are part of Blogger, you don't have to sign up for another service, or embed any code in a gadget.
Additionally, if you want the enterprise-level power and flexibility of Google Analytics, you can still use it, as outlined in this Help Center article. Note that the pageview data in Blogger Stats and in Google Analytics may not be identical, due to different collection mechanisms used. Also, Blogger Stats do not support private blogs for now.
Check out the new Stats feature now, and let us know what you think.

«Oldest ‹Older 1 – 200 of 286 Newer› Newest»This is incredible! You guys have been listening to what we request and are making changes and upgrades to Blogger that we've asked for. Good work, all!
Great ♥. Thank you.
This is very cool and saves time logging in to Google Analytics. Thanks!
this is BRILLIANT and so much easier than analytics! good job!
was what I needed thank you very much excellent
Thanks for this. I never got the hang of analytics but this is simplicity itself.
Thanks, just what I needed. Is there any way to customize this?
Apparently we're also going to need to wait a month or so before the stats can become very useful ;)
This is great. I'd appreciate if it had an IP blocking feature in it.
Gerçekten çok güzel olmuş. Basit ve sade ama yine de kullanışlı...
I would like to hug whoever thought this up. Thanks Googlers!
Hats Off!
Something always wanted, never could ask accurately this. Thanks to whoever thought about it.
This is just fantastic!
Thanks a lot! Just what I was looking for.
Hi
This feature is really interesting and useful. This way I will remove statcounter tracking code and can save some loading time of the page.
Sppedup for my blog even for all.
love love love it!
good idea and great work
Great!!!
Thanks Blogger Te@m !
It's really useful tool !
As 4th guy said, it needs some time(~month)to be very useful.
Blogger team - this is getting amazing.
I remember when Blogger first started - my oh my how fast the evolution is moving.
I see lots of very, very small businesses adopting blogger instead of an overly priced website.
This to me is all part of the new Yellow Pages

waw keren coba dari dulu blogger mengeluarkan ini pasti lebih seru karena kita tidak lagi capek harus daftar di situs lain untuk memantau perkembangan trafik blog yang kita kelola.
great!
OMG, I love it!
YES... I really like it
Excellent, may I suggest to add backlinks in a near future ?
Wow..looks awesome! Thanks blogger team, you guys always thrive to enhance user experience. Great tool! :D
Much needed feature. Needs an IP blocking feature but other than that, fantastic!
Lately, you guys just keep making blogger better and better. Keep up the great work!
This is fantastic! Thank you Blogger team!
However, it seems that I include my internal traffic in reports. How do I exclude my internal traffic from reports?
Muito bom!!! =]
Mandaram super bem!
Gostei :D
ottimo ragazzi e sempre avanti
grazie
ciao from italy
YAY-I LOVE IT...now I can get rid of the sitemeter :) woo-hoo - thank you Blogger Team!!!
really great feature!
cool and it will really help bloggers to know quickly about the stats.
Real-time stats are always nice! Thanks for this feature. :)
Very cool!
very nice. between this and the realistic page preview, you've made me very happy.
why blog not coming in the search for any thing?????
Cool, it even knows last week's stats!
I wish it could be added to iGoogle
Nice work!
I found 1 problem though, in that the width of the feature is like twice as long as my screen (over 3000px, screenshot at 50%):
http://i49.tinypic.com/2ihw37p.png
Looks good. One much needed feature: the ability to filter out traffic from a given IP address/domain/etc. ESpecially for those of us with small readerships, our own hits can show up rather conspicuously.
how can you disable this if you want?
Super like. like. like!
another blogger breakthrough. thanks for the service!
Will there be a blocking cookie so you can filter out your own visits to your blog?
Hey Blogger team this is a real plus. It seems to be a good resource but I'm not sure it would give enough insight to replace Google Analytics. I'll have to compare the two for a few weeks.
Thanks!
Thank you so much! I love it. I was waiting for stats so long! You are great! :))
a great feature, thanks
I think this is terrific! But I'm just wondering why Blogger Stats is showing more pageviews than Analytics is? Is Google Analytics inaccurate or is Stats inaccurate?
GENIUS!
Cool feature. We need more such feature in blogspot. Also, There should be one push button for backup and restore.
Good for a start but the result is falls. Need an ip filter feature, or just filter automatically *.blogger.com source. As i edit my blog and checking i am counted. As I just started a blog half of my traffic is me :) Analytics can filter IP.
But keep going al what is working well is fantastic :)
BLogger came with another great feature
http://rafayhackingarticles.blogspot.com
thanks heaps - on a quick look it looks good........
This is very cool! Thanks so much!
Thank you! How can I eliminate my IP from stat results?
excellent :)
Nice, thanks. I don't use blogger any more (I use wordpress) but it's nice to see blogger finally add stats.
It's very cool
Happy happy
Thanks
I LOVE YOU THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH
This feature will speed up all blogs on blogger doe to less code of visitor trekking. I was using stats counter script to track visitor..and now I am sure I no longer need that one..Thanks to Blogger.
It's very cool.
Thank you.
Great feature .saved time to check visitor in another blog stats checking site .
Excellent timing too. As Microsoft is stripping Windows Live Spaces of what's left of it's features, including "Statistics", you are continually adding more new ones to Blogger.
GREAT JOB!!!
What Gerry said... Your timing of the introduction of stats is impeccable.
It would be cool if we could display the number of views of a post to our visitors, just like in streaming sites like youtube.
How do I block my own visits?

This is the stuff. Wow Blogger does it again. Thanks Blogger Hong Kong Willie,or Hongkongwillie.
So I don't need to goto Google Analytics anymore? LOL
Thanks blogger :)
This is much easier than going to analytics.
Excellent!
good to start with cooool and saving time thank you
In a word: FABULOUS! Thanks for this convenient feature where everything is in one place at your fingertips and can be viewed at a glance in near real-time. It saves time toggling over to other collection sites or Google Analytics. It certainly cuts down on the time to analyze how a post is performing and how well the blog is growing in presence. Thanks again, much appreciated!
finally !! ^^
Thanks a lot for this unbelievably awesome feature .
No more confusing analytics code , cheers~!
finally!
Wow, its really great to get this feature. Thanks.
Thanks for this new feature!!!
Not after we felt so spoiled with the stand alone pages, graduate edition of blogger template designer, and now???...Blogger Stats, EXCELLENT!!!
Useful stuff.
Like someone said above, the next step is to allow us to show our visitours the pageviews of the posts, maybe through a data tag like this: data:post.pageviews
It took over four years for Google to bring Measure Map to Blogger. Wow.
I hope people can comment using their own Facebook/Twitter Accounts.
I hope people can comment to our posts thru their Facebook/Twitter Accounts.
Thank you.
PLEASE FILTER draft.blogger.com and www.blogger.com domain!!! Makes fals result!
Finally ... something easier!! Yay!
Are you going to integrate it with Google Analytics?
Very impressive.
This is great - thanks for the new statistics. Always looking to get more information.
really helpfull...thanks...
nice
long time wait this
this is the best thing blogger has done after draft arrived. rock on
Now, this will be easy to track my visitors.
So now I have Google Analytics and stats on my side. I sure am on the winning side.
Great work guys!
does it count my own visits?
This is a great addition to Blogger in Draft! Would it count my visits in the statistics? And where can I suggest a new feature? Thanks again for all the work you do!
I am a Uighur, who between us write a blog in particular, the most before we use your blog system, but now a lot of people gave up, because the written comments section can not directly enter the Uighur language. We use "we develop the js to display text and other text Uighur enter" blogger's comments, but some did not open so I can not enter, you can give us guidance to enter the Uighur text input method Mody.
Our tutorial is as follows: (Although Uighur language, but you certainly can read)
http://tarim.yulghun.com/src/utext/bedit.html
Thank you
Love the Blogger Stats feature. You added this just as Windows Live Spaces took theirs away. Prophetic! Suddenly today, however, the Stats pages are 15 yards wide. What happened? Hope it's temporary. Thanks.
http://fidalgoweather.blogspot.com
How do I exclude my visits from stats? Thanks
the statistics are very nice but they would be better if they could show unique visitors too, not only page views!
Perfect!!!
Great - but it REALLY needs to be able to import old stats, or edit the total stats number.
If I'm able to edit the starts count on blogger to my one that I have on a stats site, I would totally quit that other stats counter site.
PLEASE BLOGGER LET US DO THIS! PLEASE!
**BLOGGER: PLEASE READ**
Please let us import stats! I use www.blogpatrol.com, but it sucks.
If I'm able to import my data from it, I'll delete that account and stick to Blogger's stats feature!
Nice one with live traffic, but I guess I will keep my Google Analytic code in my blog until google add features like unique visitors and time on site.
And btw, I can't see Linux OS in Pageviews by Operating Systems stats, though I'm using Ubuntu occasionally.
The only flaw in this is that the stats count how many times I clicked on a page myself. It doesn't distinquish from my hits from the hits of others. Is there a way to determine this?
TEst
Thnaks for this Blogger update. But still I prefer to use Woopra for my Real time analytics.
i like your blog and thanks for sharing useful information.
- Hire Developers
This is the reason why I chose blogger. :-)
Great service - just wanted to add that ClustrMaps counts 'daily unique visitors' at city-level locations, and thus in our view is a complementary service to Blogger Stats, so we recommend Blogger users to use both!
I believe that what is absent henceforth and should shortest it is included in blogger they is the categories of articles. know if shortly does become such something?
This is just awesome. The one, which i have been looking for many days. Nice analysis. Very quick report.
much more convenient that google analytics, but this really needs an ip blocker so that I can filter out my own visits. Other than that, great job!
Apart from the face that Blogger site design preview means that half of my traffic is in fact me, I love this!
Google Analytics on my main blog told me I had one hit for the last month, and I was set to throw in the towel, but then I saw this and checked - the real total is closer to 995, with 36 hits just today! Will be scrapping all my google code.
Now if you could block my own page views that originate from my own blogger dashboard, I'd be happy with that!
Oh, that looks nice! I wrote an article about the missing stats (or rather the fuzzy Analytics integration) of blogger (http://usabilityramblings.wordpress.com/2010/06/22/blogspot-vs-wordpress/). But this looks good. If I have enough free time, I might just switch back to Blogger!
Simply awesome
Most excellent, I've dumped sitemeter.
great job, such a big happiness to have this. i like most tha blog status, now i cant go anywhere.. thank you
wow... no wonder if blogger getting more massive number increase everytime. well done you guys... you made us keep still with you... thanks for great job!
Thanks for finally giving us an easy to use and integrated tool. I started using FlagCounter a while back and like it a lot but the Blogger Stats gives me even more information about my blog traffic.
http://LennyVasbinder.blogspot.com
I've logged into Blogger in draft, as well as having clicked on all the links about it and there is no Stats Tab on my dashboard. My dash board shows Blogger in Draft checkmarked at the top.
Great this is what I have been waiting for. you are great!
http://masterdemercadeo.blogspot.com/
This is the best thing to happen to blogger since it's creation.
Very excited!!!
Awesome addition. Thanks!
Thanks Blogger team - this is very useful!
Now this new feature is really going to be helpful to all of us!
http://protectyourselffamilyandfriends.blogspot.com
This will be very useful if one can exclude his traffic.
Add this feature or explain how to do it.
this is such a useful and interesting new features introduced by blogspot team.
i use this to know about my blog stats.

Great stuff good to have you guys their at Blogger thinking of us guys out in nether nether land.
AmaaaZiing! Thank you!!
I really love the stats... I can't wait to see it developed more... It's awesome and so useful and interesting to get this information.... Thanks for the hard work!
Great!! Really loving the stats on Blogger now, it means I don't have to go all the way to google analytics to find the simpler information..
Well done you guys!
Thanks!!!! This is really something I can use. Great stuff!
This is good!
Thanks.
Thank you for this! Great work!
How about adding a count of absolute unique visitors like the one in Google Analytics?
great stuff, thanks!!!
I was hoping Blogger would include Google Maps instead of this very basic map known from Analytics. I'd really like it if each town from which visits came had a pin so I can see the whole world with pins in different places and to zoom in and out to see more exactly where those places are.
I like this new feature but the map has really let me down.
i don't see this feature over my draft.blogger.com? what should i do?
Great!!! I'm ready to compare it with my google Analytics
This is great! Something very targeted and accurate right on blogger! YAY! Thank you for the blogger lovin'
This is grat !
i ahv been using so many stat tools but this great tool than all
Wonderful step by blogger, keep bringing innovation.
Thanks
That was much needed one. Thank you, will check right now!!
This is a great addition!
Does it count views when you look at your own page? My Stat Counter counts my own view when I look at my blog.
Waw it is the golden time for me to work with the blog.make me known how to share information.
very nice but would love it if you can block on own visit
How do you get to the Stats (which are really cool!) from your dashboard? I can only get there through this page.
Very cool and excellent feature.
It would also be great if we could view our RSS followers on the stats.
Book Reviews: http://www.ManOfLaBook.com
My numbers are SO MUCH higher than what Google Analytics has been telling me all these years. Thank you for this ego boost, Blogger!!!
This is really nice, so cool. thank you
There is no stats tab. Where is it?
Wonderful new feature. But I need to know one thing: do the stats include OUR OWN HITS ON OUR OWN BLOG SITES? Since I work on them constantly, this would really throw off the stats for me.
Let me now please, at fredlamotte@gmail.com
Cool So if I see 22pages and only 5 comments does that mean 22 people looked at the blog?
Any chance of a unique visitor count being added? Also I concur with all of the requests to block my own visits. Thank you!
very cool. where can you find the stats tab?
great!
OMG!! how cool is that!!! I just am in love with all the detailed stats it gives you!! AND the BEST part??? Its freeee woohoooo
Thank you thank you thank you you guys!! you're awesome!! Thanks!!!!!
Excellent! Thank you!
I agree. This is pretty cool!
Thanks so much for working on this guys! I love it - very easy layout :)
thanks it will help us
http://qualitypass4all.blogspot.com/
Very good work! I like it.
This is great addition.
If we can set IP filter like I would like to exclude myself from counting, I can replace Google Analytics with this one.
Good stuff! Blogger has come a long way in just the 7 months I have been using it. Thank you.
As others have said on this feature however, it really needs an IP filter. That is kind of a basic requirement.
Keep up the GOOD work guys...LOVE YA MUCH...!!!
It was worth the wait! THANKS!
Wow...this is awesome. But I could only see page views? Do you have visitor stats? I could not find how many visitors visited my blog.
Thanks!
Sorry, I have to vote the dissenting vote. I find this hard to read because of the pastel color used (pale blue). I don't find the info I currently get from a 3rd party and fot now I will stick with tham.
Hi,
I have always wanted to know how to get traffic stats so your update has really helped me out. Thanks again for your great work.
Great feature -not accurate.
I use two other stats services for my blog and you numbers don't even compare to what the other two services say that I have. I find it odd that they can give the same numbers yet yours are DRAMATICALLY different.
Keep trying.
so cool to see the stats! crazy to see the break out of what country people are reading your blog! it's awesome. I had no idea i knew or reached people in germany, UK, Russia, luxemburg, latvia and singapore! that's incredible!
Really wonderful to experience how blogger is evolving. Thank you. CB
Awesome! This is what i was waiting eagerly for. Keep it up, and try introducing such good features ASAP.
Thanks for integrating the INTERESTING and NECESSARY feature. good work!!!
what has the team done so far google is a good step for the development of all creativity. we can give each other something that is best for this cooperation. indeed so far that we are inhibiting factor information on blog traffic. most people want to know about it. so I thank you on google team
This is an awesome addition! Thanks!
This one is really informative especially to us who are new in blogger.. thank you!
here's my blogsite please rate it: http://text2messages.blogspot.com/ thanks!
It is really a great attachment for blogger user.
Thank you all.
Simply great , Thanks!
Very Nice
Thanks much...great working....
I hope you add an IP blocking feature here since most of the time I check my blog for the updates of other blogs I follow.
And at least the new features are catching up with WP.
Very useful! I love it because it has got a much detailed traffic sources list. :)
Hi..
Great work... Just what I was looking for...
Adding to other's.. it would be great.. if self visits can be discounted in some way..
Thanks a lot!!!
Regards,
Santhosh Kumar Durai
Amazing Stuff. Truly you hear the voices of the people and answer.
This is great...Thanks for adding it!
neat!
really what I've been missing for a long time.
This is an awesome addition! Thanks!

Im making a blog with blog. Blogger stats cool gadgets.
http://maintenancemaster.blogspot.com/ pretty good. could you add a. "Ask here how to fix and i will answer button? Otherwise great site. Keep it up.
Woo hoo! I dance on the grave of Analytics, which required a PHD in statistics to comprehend.
This is great, pretty much instant info, no need to post codes, evreything there for you.
Well done blogger, just wish you'd done it sooner...
Thank you. So far I've been using a third party plugin, but I'll see how your Blogger Stats work out.
This is fantastic, but the numbers from your stats are radically different than the ones I'm getting from stat counter. Not even remotely close. What's the deal?
Fantastic addition to the blog site! extremely useful for tracking purposes!!
I am going to take this for a test drive right now! Enjoying the blogger format quite a bit. Thanks much!
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Even though Google Analytics shows it's receiving data, it has shown 0 visits to my blog for the last 2 months. I knew that couldn't be right! The new stats is great!
Does the count exclude your own IP address?
great..thanks ..for such a nice offer....
Blogger Team is not great but greatest
