Today we're announcing an exciting new feature, video upload, and an exciting new place to use it: Blogger in draft. We’re excited. You can think of draft as Blogger’s laboratory: it has features that we’re playing around with, trying out, and aren’t ready to “publish” to the main site.
Our first drafted feature is video upload. We’ve added a new button to the post editor (
) that pops up a dialog you can use to upload a video right into your blog post. If you have an Akita and a hat, you could make something that looks like this:The comments are open, so let us know what you think! Also read the video upload FAQ for even more information.
Curious about Blogger in draft? We wrote a FAQ about that, too.
Update, 6/20: Read the latest blog post for responses to your feedback.
Update, 6/22: Share your videos in the comments for this blog post.

Hurrah for Blogger in Draft!
yay yay! i'll try anything new =)
great work!
I will check it out..
but I use my the old way of designing my website..
should i move to this way 'beta'
Great Idea! It will be well used...
Cool idea! Are there any plans to add mp3 uploads to enable podcasting?
hello tomo!
This looks great ... I have been waiting for this to arrive..Thanks!I would also like to be able to enable podcasting?
How about a way to mobile blog videos? The thing I take the largest amount of video on is my camera phone, so how about adding the same functionality as it is with pictures? Eh? Eh?
I am totally excited about this...
It will breath life into my blog!
good initiative with 'blogger in draft' & 'video upload' feature. 'audio upload' must also be there with support to mp3 / wma / wav etc.
That would further make publishing a media rich blog easy.
Hooray for Tomo!
If he can make the thing where I can record video directly from the browser, that'd be hot.
That's a good idea! İ liked it.
this is one of the coolest ideas I've heard from blogger recently.... however I wasn´t that happy when I wanted to upload a 9MB video and saw nothing, I tried it twice.. the second time I had been waiting for more than 2hours and a half.. is the server that busy?
Good idea Blogger Team, but its sooo sloooowwww!
As of this writing, the video still has not uploaded. Perhaps you should consider switching to YouTube instead of Google Video for your video platform of choice?
Like it a lot!!! Let us know once the beta is over, I have some video uploads in queue.
Also,as already thoguht of, would be great help if there are audio uploads available which could be kind of bacground music to the blog & take lesser space as well...
uhm hello blog people. We come in peace. We are interested in freedome of speach, which uhm this site now provides even more of. So you blog people should connect with the USA and other freedome loving countries as deeply as possible. Otherwise, the draft page will be a problem. You see, the public see's you now. A lot of people are using this blogger site. Take that into deep, careful, and fair consideration. As long as there isn't any nudity, swearing, or bodily dehabilitating harm avocated against a particular person or persons on a site that site should be allowed to run. Otherwise people will be different in other areas and you can't help that at a certain point.
great idea this Blogger in Draft. and great idea this video upload feature.
but i miss an audio mp3 upload (and player) feature. just like goear.com or something loke that.
will you add this feature soon?
Wow its about time! Wow I like it all ready! Now I gets some cool video up when I use a feature like this! Keep up the good folks!!
I don't see the upload video button. I use Firefox 2.0.0.4
Nice idea and nice feature!
Thank you Google :)
Banateanu, are you in the "Draft" site (blue instead of orange logo)? It seems every revisit you always start at the regular site.
I can't wait! Have to jump through hoops to upload video now.
Hey what's blogger doing in mobile right now?
Thanks you so so much , I wish too that you integrate youtube the same way vox did it to add the videos there easily from there
Where is the new button? Am I the only one who doesn't see it?
I don't see a button either - and I did switch to the new blogger pretty early. What am I missing?
Hey, got it now! Pushed New Post and up it came. Great idea!
Bravo... When this feature will be released? And also I hope for audio/mp3 upload (I use the blog for online music teaching)
i'm with Mongo, if this goes mobile for cellphones, this will be off the hook. oooh punny.
the only thing i see being an issue are the mobile filetypes that come off of the mobiles... but you guys are google and stuff so no worries?
Yes! I love it...keep these great features coming!
Thanks for this. I so needed new options for blogging. I was tempted to change to other blogs but for some reason I'm attached to Blogger, I had the feeling that something new was coming and this is it. Thanks again and congrats!
thanks for this great feature. i've been waiting for this!
Great feature. However, I can see this quickly getting blogger banned in my school district, thus neutralizing it as a tool for my students.
You folks at blogger think of any ways to combat their over cautiousness?
Can you please add the option of adding static pages to a blog, like most wordpress blogs can? If blogger had that, I would be sold on blogger.
Great feature!
It will be better if we can insert videos that have already been uploaded in Google video or youtube.
Very nice Thanks Google&Blogger.!!!
太太太慢了!没有上传速度和进度显示!在中国大陆无法忍受...
I was able to sucessfully upload a 10.8 MB video file, however whenever I opened up my blog the video would start playing automatically. I've since deleted the post that contained the video because I'm afraid that my non-broadband readers and those with slow connections will have problems loading my page. Can this be fixed? Or is there a way to stop this from happening with HTML code?
AWESOME!!! gwee, ... Now I can add some awesome anime features to my blog...:3
or kissing scenes with my Boyfriend XD
be warned.. YAOI!!
look AT ME BLOG PLZ I LOVE COMMENTS!!
Tried it and loved it! Uploaded a video/audio file I made of my highschool mates' pictures but too big to be sent via email. Now I can share it with them through my blog.
Keep 'em new features coming! And thanks!!
It is great. At least the upload window doesn't use a pop-up window. Hope this kind of window will replace the pop-up window. Thanks. :)
It is great!
www.freecomicbooks.blogspot.com
Works a treat. Many thanks.
so, it means it will be published right away right? common, hurry up...I couldn't stand anymore!!!
Long Live Blogger
Sounds good, but what you really need is a button to add a poll to your blog if you choose. Check out Daily Kos to get the idea.
Also, when I try to use draft.blogger.com and try to upload a video, it just endlessly tries to upload it until I get an error message that pops up. Fix it fast so we can use it!
It's great but we would like to have the possibility to publish post date entries. That means we cannot always be in the PC but we would like to have the possibility to publish in certain times. So we not in Blogger? I think it's very easy to do it! You are the masters!
i'm using mac osX and safari, and i see no video upload button in post editor.... can you add this for mac users? thanks. (the only buttons i've ever had are image upload & spell check.)
Not sure if I like the video automatically starting up in IE when the page loads. Thats IE 6, not sure about other versions.
You make my day...
WOW! now I dont have to upload at Youtube and then embed the link. I can do it here directly!! it will be fun to use it.
-Stella Roy
Hoorah! You know what we really need? a way to rotate videos when we post them. Nobody has that anywhere for my little quicktime videos.
AWESOME --- NOW for the LOVE OF GOD Please Implement - PICASA INTO BLOGGER -
Cool. Now I can post videos ithout a youtube account!
The video upload doesn't work for me.
This is going to ad an all new level to my mobile messaging blog. Were starting to do video and now we can show it to the people who check out our blog. Thanks again.
I guess the video upload is gonna need a way of reporting and removing offensive and copyrighted content.
I know google knows the game as they had already done it with youtube and googlevideos.
Anyway Two Thumps UP to the new feature!!!
George Philip, Elavatta
HI, I have put up three videos on a post in my blog at http://mumbaibuzz.blogspot.com/ The issue I am experiencing is that when I open the blog in Internet Explorer, all 3 videos start playing on their own without even clicking on 'play'. I don't seem to be experiencing any issues with Firefox though. I am using IE 6 service pack 2 and Firefox 2.0.4. Please see if you can fix this issue at the earliest as any visitors would no doubt find 3 videos playing simulatenously, irritating. Thank you.
I think its great...can you post a photo gallery?
Beautiful!
sweet ,can it get any better!!!!
P.S check my blog
So cool.
Great worl.
Great work - We need more Google api
apps. Fun Stuff - http://souljacker-space.blogspot.com/
Check it!
Congratulations on the draft site - and thank you for continuing to enrich the platform.
Will the 2Gb total site limit recently imposed on photo uploads also be applied to videos? If so, I suspect that video and other media-rich forms of content will only be usable in very small doses.
Any thoughts on perhaps loosening the restrictions? Otherwise, it'll still make more sense to use third-party services to ensure we don't max out our Blogger accounts.
sweet. i was actually wondering if you guys would ever enable video upload and BEHOLD! THOU HATH DONE IT.
Thank you, I have been taking lots of video but have been reluctant to post since I didn't really have a good widget type app to embed. Now I do, thank you I posted our first video today!
I don't see the video upload button on my OSX 10.4.9, in either Safari or Firefox. Also I have two suggestions:
1. If we upload QT or MPEG4 H.264, please don't re-encode to Flash, you will kill the quality. Revver and blip.tv don't do this.
2. Have a player like blip.tv's Thumbnail Flipper. That is, just generate an image of the video. When you click on it, it will play. Look at my test "QT Video from blip.tv (thumbnail flipper) in
http://faculty2007.blogspot.com/
I'd like to be able to choose a thumbnail image.
Not sure why the thumbnail on my first upload is black, there doesn't seem to be any black in the source video.
Thanks for this.
Awesome! I've wated to upload video inside a blog post. I really like the idea of blogger draft!
Great Idea!!! And the next step: podcasting?
thank you for video!!!!!!
Great feature... again. Thanks Blogger and Google team. You make our lifes so easy!
Long live Blogger n Google! A useful component to add .
If you enable the upload of sound files, internet radio will have a whole new meaning.
this might interest you.
Someday the need for search engines may disapear as browzer technology advances. Hence you will be stuck with blogging as your primary business. There are already softwares being developed to search the net independantly. Now blogging, thats not so easy to duplicate. You need to think ahead of what will happen when personal computers become powerful enough to single handedly host many sites at once. It will effect the role of search engines and blogging.
solution for you. Blog and browzer integration is the future. You have the blogging tech. Browzers have the independance yet the still depend on a company to make them. Just remember someday blogs and browzers will be one. Internet based search engines will give place to browzer search engines.
bottom line. start working on browzer with blog capacity. It is the future. You just keep the blogger site going . . . for now. But latter think . . Google browzer + blogger. firefox is aking the leage in browzers so ask them.
are there systems requirements for this?
I say this because I use Windows98 and Firefox 2.0.0.4 and my uploads are never completed, I tried to upload a 450KB video and the upload never finished
for those thancan see that, the button you are looking for can be found in the dashboard page
Ahem ! I am one of the early adopters. But there seems to be a problem. The videos are getting added alright, but each time i publish, there is a post which is saved as a draft. So now i have two videos uploaded and two stored as drafts. I am not able to delete the Drafts. wonder whether any one else has such problems.
It's at this blog: http://mahe-manipal-university.blogspot.com
The error code i get is :bX-kb029e

The draft page loads faster and looks much more simplistic. Why not make it more consistent with other Google services such as Gmail and Google Reader?
oh but we want the same great feature for audio files!
will somone tell me what Googles policy is on custom created (html/javascript) software such as a drop down menu? I made a complete drop down menu. No dirivation. It is completely my own creation. What is Google's policy on this? They talk about SERVICES and I am not sure exactly what they mean when it comes to this kind of thing.
I can't wait to try the video feature :O
Google keep doing great stuff!
It's cool and fun HOWEVER I don't think the readers will like the fact that the video's start automatically. Isn't there a way the reader can control when the video starts to play?
It works like a charm except: The video I uploaded starts playing on its own; I'd much prefer that the embedded player default to pause mode, so my readers can choose when to play it on their own.
Same problem as mentioned by Raj--the video starts immediately playing and when I uploaded 3 videos in 3 separate posts, all were playing at the same time and it took a LONG time to get them to stop. What I noticed, though, is that this problem did not happen on my husband's computer (which is newer than mine, although we both use Windows 2003).
Also, when I went back to edit something in an entry with the video in it (e.g. the title), it has an error message.
I like this new feature and am looking forward to your working all the bugs out! Thanks.
thanx this will help us a lot
awesome Movies!!!!111
A good idea, but I can't see the button in FireFox. I too am running 2.0.0.4
mind blowing! was waiting for this to happen... now take it ahead and implement it on all levels. orkut(partially done), gmail and everywhere. Cheers! Guys.
This looks great! I can't wait to use this feature. Right now I have to embed a link to another site for my friends and family to enjoy video.
Awesome ~ I have been waiting with anticipation for this feature ~
Love the feature, but I'll echo the concerns of others here re: the videos automatically playing on load. It'd be much better to have them wait for a "play" command from visitors. This is an easy fix in Flash, so I hope you guys can make it soon.
"Blogger in Draft" is a great concept and I look forward to more cool stuff!
This is great... uploading videos directly is great.. blogging is taking on a whole new persona of convenience.. I am loving this!
Thats really great .
Thank you google.
Blogger in draft will be a fantastic addition to our blog. When people have a fear of flying they need personal contact and this will give us exactly that.
We look forward to using it
The ability to add video is welcome. I tested it out on my blog http://www.adamok.net and it works great.
I guess bloggers would want an option to resize the video to fit different layouts. I am not sure whether it was due to my connection, but loading the same video took a bit longer as compared to YouTube.
Any chance of an audio upload for podcasting?
I think there is a compression issue with the audio. My movie is a .mov and when I take a listen to the original file, it sounds fine, but when I upload it via the tool, there's a ton of white noise.
Of course its a good idea!......its a "great" idea!..
My hobby is creating slideshow video's of anything exciting that I can think of...
If my wife's baking bread, I make a "production number" out of it!.. What the hell, I'm having fun!...
But, when I'm finished with my magnificent creation, what do I do with it?... I'm looking forward to posting my masterpieces on "Blogger in Draft" of course!...
So, keep up the great work!....and, I'll be watching!..
Yaay - looks like video upload rocks! I've been waiting for this feature to promote the Compleat Day Tripper Metro boston book destinations and our new Cape & South Coast edition with short videos from cell camera and handycam.
Kool! A video feature is what my blogs need! I can't wait!
I really like that I was able to post a video -- however, the video started playing automatically. It would be much nicer if I had to push play in order to watch it.
Cool feature, I'll check it out. Wasn't sure but hope it has sound as well.
There should be an upload progress meter along with this, letting you know how long it'd take to upload and how far you are in uploading. I started uploading a video ten minutes ago which is still loading as I type this. I have no clue as to how long it will take because of the missing progress meter.
cool... it looks really great... can we have a pre-load option? will it eat bandwidth as soon as the page is opened or would the users have to click in to start the streaming?
how do you take a video from youtube and put it in your blog?
Just tried this and the quality is far superior to YouTube!
I'm guessing the file is converted to .flv as it seems to be a Flash player, but the quality's very close to the (relatively) hi-res .wmv original.
Superb!!!
To Avanti, there's an online .flv converter at www.vixy.net, and its free! That'll do the trick.
I'm ready!! Let's do it!!
I have found that the video upload button is only visible when first posting my blog. Later when I want to edit my blog, the button is missing. Do you know how to bring the button back?
YES YES YES COME ON WITH IT!!!!
great!!! i was looking for one to put up my video in the blogs when i came across this. something to start with for novice like me...thanks.
oh thats really great news.. i hope it soon comes of the draft mode
I would love a way to enable each label to have its own feed. Is this at all in the works, or even being discussed?
wow! really nice announcement, but.... is it linked to YouTube or Google Video? 'Cause I prefer a lot GVideo over YT...
Please add an Audio Upload feature. I have a podcast that includes audio of radio stories I've done. I'm looking for an easy way to embed these into the blog. Help!
audio, video, sound, animation, and pdf-the complete set. go for it! Your halfway there!
forgot about pictures, but you have that already.
uploading videos to blogs is great, but could there be some sort of progress bar or something so that users noe roughly how much has completed and how much more to go?
this is really cool! A big help to those who don't know html and whatnot!
LOL. I've logged in through draft but cannot see any such button when in the post editing mode.
I love the new feature! I'm just beginning to play with the video features on my camera & this came along just as I'm ready to post a few. THANKS! I'm excited to see this feature become fully functional!
My bug:
My video appears in preview mode, but says that it's 0 seconds long & won't play. Once I actually publish the post & view the blog, it's not there at all, just a box with an "x" in the corner.
The video upload feature is great, and following in the footsteps of the new media. The quality of video's are not lost in transfer (jumpy video or muted sound). Nice work and keep the fresh ideas coming.
yay!! i've always wanted this!! :D!!!
I uploaded a video, and all was fine, I then went back to edit the post and I got a message something like " video will not upload", it then dissappeared off of the blog. What's up? it was already on the blog, why did it go away?
eh who needs pdf when you can just save a web page with your browzer. You can do that you know.
dear blogger. Please give us a special place to store photos online. This should not be difficult for you to do.
this looks like a great addition.
videos will help add more personality to blogs.
after uploading and processing a video successfully, i saved it to draft. the next time i tried to edit it, the video started processing again, then an error occurred, and the video deleted itself. this happened every time i tried to edit it, but under preview or after i published it, it could be seen without any problems.
bugs?
this is totally cool
=)
Weird thing is, when I did it on firefox, there was an error, but when I did it on Internet Explorer, it uploaded fine. Kind of weird. Oh well, it's still awesome.
This is great - it shortens the steps that I need to take to publish a video. Instead of uploading it to Google Video and waiting for it to go public there, before copying the HTML and plonking it into my blog post, I can do it straight away, and while it loads up, write my post.
First time I did it tonight:
Fire By Friction
:-)
cheers,
Mungo Says Bah!
Great idea! and it works !!!
Congratulations Blogger in Draft !!
SWEET ! , when will the full verssion be ready ?
Great ,when will the full ver be ready
Great ,when will the full ver be ready
Yea! Thank you - we've had a hard time with other upload options and are so happy this might be a new tool!!!
Finally! And.. when, when, when you add on our Blogs? With this little measures likes yours Blogger in draft, I hope: Google video or Youtube videos are too much big for a simple blog ( if someone want to see video goes to video-blog..) By from italy We love you!(Your work...)
Now everyone can use it
at last!!!
I think it will become one of the most useful tools for bloggers. I hope everybody can use it soon.
To your success!
Hooshmand
great new feature. pls go on adding new things to blogger.
before I had to use embedded youtube videos such as here and here.
nice!
me to ill try any thing new to
I am new to blogging but this sounds great to be able to upload a video file.
This is what I've been waiting for. Definitely an exciting world of blogging starts here! Great move!
I'm so excited to be able to post videos to go along with my blogs. Right now I'm using another site to post videos but it would be better to have it all here! Go Blogger! Go Blogger!
Video Upload is Great. I have been using youtube and embedding, but this will be better. Yay!
I know I know, it's still in draft, but I do look forward to a feature that lets me know how much of the file (%percentage) is uploaded. I've been publishing this post for over an hour! (Maybe that's normal for video uploaded, it is around 46MB. I wouldn't be surprised if my internet service provider (ISP) cut me off by the end of all this upload lol. I'm giving it about 10 more minutes then I'm cutting it off, because I'm getting sleepy. Be right back (I say that so you know I've left in the middle of the post). Back, ok appx 10 minutes went by. Now what? I'm sleepy and have no idea how fast the file is uploading.
Maybe it's taking so long because of a Javascript error... Details:
I'm using I.E. for this post
Javascript Error
Line 332
Char 12
Error 'this.cleanData_' is null or not an object
Code: 0
URL http://draft.blogger.com/post-create.g?blogID=11847027
Actions I took besides typing/copy paste in this post were previewing and hiding (multiple times), then clicking save a few times.
Thanks for this its excellent! I have had no trouble uploading or embeding, as yet!! Thanks again!
Having trouble uploading videos. I can get them onto Google Video no problem, but when it comes to signing into the video uploader, my user id and password are not recognized.
I've been playing with this a little today, some errors, some delay, but some were quick and painless. The current video is a short, shakey clip of horses from a local park. Except, my blog loads and looks fine, but then adds visible html before the video.
example: 27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" id="BLOG_video-8b7aedcaad98d7d0" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0" class="BLOG_video_class" height="280" width="320">
I left all of the code alone and didn't change anything. Hmmm...
Any ideas? By the way, I use a classic template.
My Blogger Draft Post
I LOVE YOU GUYS!
You make this blog thing so much fun and easy (for us not so computer literates).
I am so excited about the video upload thingy! I can't wait to use it on my blog. It really makes keeping in touch with out-of-town family and friends more exciting!
THANKS, THANKS, THANKS!
Sharen
Video upload directly in the blog is what I have been waiting for!! My blog consists of vids every update and this will certainly make it easier, as well as save time! FANTASIC!
So, uh... when is this going live, exactly? ;)
I can not wait! No, seriously... I can not wait! Hurry up!
I am preparing video lessons for my students. Thanks to Blogger for introducing this great feature.I would like to use this feature. Blogger has really expanded the dimensions of classroom learning.
http://mykhmsmathclass.blogspot.com
hey great idea about the video upload, more features faster communication and better say great going!!
I am having a problem uploading video I got one but now I can't get anymore it just keeps saying that it is uploading and i have left it for hours and still not finished. I have high speed internet. Am I doing something wrong?
There needs to be a mobile version for those of us that use go@blogger.com to post from our mobile device.
I love this feature! It is SO much quicker than going to google.com or youtube and loading it and pasting the code in. AWESOME! When will you take it out of draft and put it in blogger? Thanks!!!!!
great idea this blogger in draft thanks
I love this project. I hope it can be release for public immediately. go go go blogger!
This is a great idea. I do lots of interviews for media. Would love to be able to do audio podcasts from the blog too!
Tried it but was VERY slow and then it said there was a problem. Mmm..... Would love to post mp3's as well. At the moment I do it with podbean.
Very cool! It is absolutely perfect for our site (www.bollockscratcher.com)- thanks guys!!
I am quite interested in this. I am just learning how to use all my video editing features on my computer, so I am a bit of a OCD with videos of late. I have been hoping for this. I like Google Video and YouTube, but the wait for the video to activate from download to view on blog can be an age.
I am sure it would be better for Blogger not to have so many outside things being fed through the blog anyhow. Even if they all are under the same umbrella.
I would really also like how it would eliminate that whole 3rd party commenting I get in email from the Google Video or YouTube sites. It would be great to just have one set of comments come to my email.
Thanks for doin this little earlybird peek at stuff.
great job people. the video quality is slightly degraded but overall its excellent new feature. please make it load faster though my PC is a DINOSAUR
i WANT IT I WANT IT BAD!!
HURREY UP AND PUBLISH IT!!!
thank you, i love you guys
Roscuro Out

This is FABULOUS! Thanks for making it so easy!
This is a great feature and work well but I was wondering if the back end is Google Video why am I not able to see the video under Uploaded Videos at video.google.com. I know when you post a picture it it put into an album on picasa but why not Google Videos.
Thanks
Loooove it! =D
congragulations for being the blog with the most comments ever.
sssccc
Hi, would be great to have the ability to record directly a video in your own blog with your webcam. Like facebook does (Video app), since flash allows to do this.. and the file wouldn't be huge to store on the blog itself.
For example, if you're on a trip and go to a cybercafe you can't always plugin your camera to put a video on your blog (or the connection could be very slow..). But you could use the webcam on that computer to post a little video.
i think this is excellent, but i want to know if we will be able upload videos from other sources on the web, such as cnn, msnbc, and the other networks?
I am unable to upload my video-it just gives me long codes and says i must contact support and submit the information, but where do i submit it? can anyone help!
Will it eventually support SAFARI?
awww... this is really awesome!!!!! thanx for this! more power! cheers!
I just started using the video upload for the time I was in Mexico during Hurricane Dean and my blog only shows a box with an x in it. Could you give me a suggestion on what is wrong?
I switched to Blogger-in-draft, but fail to get the video upload button in a new post.
Can't figure out what, if anything, I'm doing wrong.
This does run under Safari v2.0.4, right?
If not, shame on you.
I uploaded my video which plays great in preview prior to publishing, but once I publish and try to view on my blog, I only see a box with an x in the upper corner. Anybody know if this is being worked on?
Solution for those suffering from the "x" factor:
I had this problem, too. The following worked for me.
When you are editing or drafting your post, be sure that you are in "Compose" mode; not "Edit Html" mode (the two tabs at the top left of the draft post) when uploading your video and that you publish the post while in Compose mode.
great work
Thank you so much, Kate. I lost a lot of time with fixing the unvisible player in the browsing mode yesterday and the solution is so easy.
I actually needed to upload an audio podcast, but Blogger does not support it. So I have created my first video (in Windows Movie Maker) by adding a picture to the mp3 audio track.
Does anybody know about better/faster solution? Thanks!
I have tried and tried to upload my videos and get message 'cannot connect to blogger.com'.I spend alot waiting for it to load. Then it fails! This is getting me mad! What am I doing wrong? Have you fixed all the bugs yet?
Hello,
I have a 94M video that I've been trying to upload all week to no avail. The status gets to "Uploading video (94M of 94M)" when it just hangs, and eventually the '94M' disappears so it just says "Uploading video ( of )". Anyone have any ideas? I'm at a loss and am totally bummed!

Sept. 20, 2007 Been working way too long to upload a slideshow to my blog. After I get the CODE and copy it, then open my blog, click on the video dealie and a box comes up. No one says what to put there! It says chose a file to upload??? what file?? Is taht where the code is copied or what goes there. I have the slideshow saved in Slideroll. Please help I am losing my brain over this.
Are there any particular qualifications that your computer or internet connection need to meet in order to be able to upload videos? The icon that is supposed to be next the the picture icon doesn't even show up when I write new posts. Why?
